Our clients using Shopify and BigCommerce are getting Big Business Image with these easy add-on apps!
Don't you love it when your favorite e-commerce sites make it easy to track your packages? Well you can do that for your customers too, using AfterShip. AfterShip is a free add-on available for nearly all the big e-commerce platforms. The free version allows both you and your customers to track packages with just one click in the order history page. If you update to the premium version (starts from $10/month), you can send out automatic shipment updates. This is a terrific, low-cost way to boost your brand profile and create more confidence with your customers.
Customers hate out-of-stocks, but sometimes they can't be avoided. You can eliminate some of the frustration by giving the customer the option to get an email when the product is back in stock. The app is called In Stock Reminder, and it's available for both Shopify and BigCommerce. When a customer clicks to a product that is out-of-stock, a pop-up window automatically appears that gives them the option to enter their email address for notification when the product is available again. It even gives the customer the option to indicate how many weeks they can wait to receive it. Nothing is as good as being in stock when a customer wants something, but for those times you can't be, this is a terrific app. There's a free version, and a paid version that starts at $19.95/month.
One of the best ways to increase your sales volume is to offer relevant products to customers at the point of sale. The Unlimited Upsell app for Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento makes it easy to do that. A customizable pop-up window appears when the customer clicks on the "checkout" button. You decide which items should be offered, and the app does the rest. There's a free version, and paid versions start at $13.95/month.
Remember, you're competing with companies around the world, many of them much larger than you. Using apps like these will help you present a Big Business Brand - even though you are on a small business budget.
